Overview
FajarPaper
is a leading packaging paper manufacturer in Indonesia with an installed
capacity of 1,200,000 metric tons per year and a range of products which
include Kraft Liner Board and Corrugated Medium Paper for carton-box packaging
and Coated Duplex Board for display packaging.
FajarPaper was established as a limited liability
company under the laws of Indonesia on February 29, 1988. FajarPaper has been
listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange since December 19, 1994. (FASW.JK).
FajarPaper is a company of the future in terms of
its forward-thinking approach to business, energy conservation and the
environment. Not only does every FajarPaper product begin its life from
recycled paper but also the company's five paper machines are powered by
self-sufficient power plants, fueled by clean natural gas.

is only using 100% recycled paper (waste paper) as raw material, while the
energy needs are fulfilled by using 2 self-owned power plants. Solid wastes are
burnt to produce steam energy for production, and on top of that FajarPaper
recycled and reuse 80% of the water used in the production process.

The Board of
Commissioners is a professional and expert unit, overseeing the Board of
Directors and the Company as a whole. Currently, the Board of Commissioners
comprising of three members, one of whom is an Independent Commissioner, met
quarterly as well as in informal routine meetings with the Board of Directors.

Board of Directors
Management of the
daily operations of the Company is the responsibility of the Board of
Directors. This involves managing the performance of individual units, the
performance of the Company overall, and the strategic focus of the business.
Currently, the Board of Directors comprised five members all of whom are
dedicated professionals with financial or technical expertise, and a thorough
understanding of BAPEPAM and the Indonesian Stock Exchange regulations and

Ir. Airlangga Hartarto has been the President
Commissioner of FajarPaper since 1988. He has been re-elected as Chairman of
the Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association, for a new term, which
commenced in 2008.
As Chairman of Indonesia’s Environment, Energy,
Mineral Resources, Research and Technology Committee, he contributes to a range
of worthwhile economic developments in Indonesia. Airlangga is Deputy Treasurer
of the Golkar Party, Secretary-General of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering
Organizations and President of the Indonesian Institute of Engineers.
He graduated from the University of Gajah Mada,
majoring in Mechanical Engineering and studied at Wharton School-University of
Pennsylvania, USA. He gained a Master’s in Management Technology from Melbourne
Business School, Australia, and a Master’s in Business Administration from
Monash University, Australia.

Lila Notopradono has been a Commissioner since
1995.She has extensive experience in the paper industry for more than 30 years,
and previously served as a Director of the Company from 1993 to 1995. Since

He was formerly in the textiles sector where he built 17 years of experience in

Yustinus J. Kusumah has been on the Board of
Directors since 1998. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Marketing
Manager for FajarPaper, 1995-1998.
He graduated in Industrial Engineering from the
University of Miami, and gained a Master’s in the same subject from the Georgia
Institute of Technology. Later he earned an MBA from the State University of
New York, Buffalo. Before joining FajarPaper, he worked with Andersen
Consulting.

Hadi Rebowo Ongkowidjojo has been a Director
since 1998. Prior to this, between 1995 and 1998, he served as Assistant
Finance Director.

from the Graduate School of Management, Prasetiya Mulya, Jakarta. Before
joining FajarPaper, he worked with Andersen Consulting.

Christopher Thomas Pedder was appointed as a
Director of the Company in 2008. He is in charge of the Mill and Engineering.
He previously worked in the Company in 1990-2002 and he was the director of the
Company in 1998-2002. He left the Company in 2002 to work with Voith Paper and
rejoined the Company again in 2008.
